About Me
B.S. Health Promotion @ UGA → Incoming PA-S1 @ Mercer
During my undergraduate coursework, I became driven by the “why” behind health outcomes. My work and volunteer experiences include supporting patient care and health education at both the individual and community level, while gaining a deeper understanding of the systems, barriers, and lived experiences that shape health.
My interest in medicine has been strongly shaped from working as a medical assistant at Urgent Care of Oconee, studying rural adolescent resilience as a research assistant at the Georgia Center for Developmental Science, and interning with the refugee resettlement program at Bethany Christian Services – an initiative I remain deeply invested in and passionate about. I currently imagine myself practicing at a Federally Qualified Health Center or nonprofit clinic in a diverse urban area where a patient's zip code, cultural practices, and language are just as relevant to their care as their chief complaint and where clinical care and public health advocacy go hand in hand.
Outside of academics and work, I love to read, explore local coffee shops, journal, listen to live music, and play pickleball.
